About a month after we did the Spin Dizzy shoot, Alexandra Rodionova and I went back to the same location to try a different style of shooting. I was using a different lens for my camera as well. But first and foremost we wanted to bring attention to the graffiti wall. This is just about the only ‘legal’ place graffiti art is allowed in the city I live in. This is also the only real area in the middle of the city were people can come and shoot hoops, play football, or just hang out. And of course this location is prime real state. So a high rise apartment building was being planned for this location. At the time there was a big local artistic movement to have the area saved. So this was our contribution.
Updated, 2006. Three years later this area is still open and free.

Gorgeous. She is beautiful, the pose is great (I love the spinning idea :) ). The colouring looks sort of.. vintage? I'm not sure exactly, but it looks good. The way it is cut off at the corners makes it look like you're seeing it through a telescope/microscope/scope of some sort, it's neat.

Quite simply, I can't see anything not to like about this work. Congrats Cardinal. :+fav:

Outlander - Diana Gabaldon, best book ever.
just came across this now. wow.
u did a NEAT job man!
really love the fisheye effect! gives it an almost unnatural flair but still very fashiony and jumps in the eye!!! i've only been doing modle fotografy for a year now... and i'm still on the virge of experimenting and stuff...this is a totally inspiring image!!!
aswell as the dresscode as the make up!!!
i live in Antwerp Belgium we also have had the same situation here with grafitti on mintsquare, they have some awsome work there and it changes regularly...i am planning to shoot there sometimes...but i'm waiting for an excellent idea to pop up and do there because i don't believe in shooting to much with different modles on the same place...
